Learn MoreCraft & A Cocktail- Ceramic Birdfeeder Workshop
Join us for a weeknight Craft & A Cocktail workshop where you’ll hand-build a substantial 10” tall ceramic bird feeder while enjoying a drink from the bar. February and March are critical months for birds in our area, when natural food sources are scarce and extra energy is needed as nesting season approaches.
Using slab-building techniques and templates, you’ll create the feeder in several sections, guided step by step by Fiona. The focus is on making a piece that’s both beautiful and built to last outdoors. Sip on a cocktail, wine, beer, or mocktail as you work.
The feeder is thoughtfully designed so the top lifts easily for refilling while remaining attached, making it simple and practical to use.
After the workshop, Fiona will bisque fire, assemble, and glaze the feeder with reactive studio glazes, firing it to be frost-proof for year-round outdoor use. She’ll also add weather-proof hanging wire and wooden perches.
Your fully assembled bird feeder will be ready for pickup in 2–3 weeks.

Ed is currently a member of three bands, Eastview, Perpendicular Universe, and Shed's Kitchen, but says lately he's been focusing on his original songs and acoustic performances. "I love the full band stuff, but sometimes I feel the need to get back to the basics."

Learn MoreThe Dharma Table: French structure × Vietnamese soul
Introducing The Dharma Table
“One road, many flavors.”
We’re excited to introduce The Dharma Table, a new series of intimate tasting dinners at Dharma Bums — evenings built around food, story, and connection, where each course is part of a larger journey.
At our core, Dharma Bums lives at the crossroads — where cultures meet, ideas wander, and new paths appear. The Dharma Table is an extension of that spirit: a space to slow down, gather together, and experience a thoughtfully composed meal from start to finish.
Our first tasting dinner takes place Thursday, February 19th at 6pm, guided by our chef Mike Jackson, whose creative, forward-thinking approach to vegetarian cooking has helped shape Dharma Bums into an award-winning destination for bold, unexpected food.
For this opening dinner, Mike presents French structure × Vietnamese soul — weaving technique and comfort with brightness, herbs, fermentation, and depth. The result is a menu that feels both grounded and alive, familiar yet quietly surprising.
The evening is paired with natural wines curated by Gail Nyvelt of The Wine Merchant Ltd., who brings over 20 years of experience in the wine industry. The selections are chosen to reflect the same philosophy as the food — expressive, intentional, and closely connected to place — aligning seamlessly with both the flavors of the meal and the Dharma Bums ethos.
Throughout the night, Mike and Gail will guide the experience, sharing the influences and choices behind each course and its pairing, inviting guests into the story behind the meal.
$130 per guest, including wine pairings, service, and ticket fees.
Tickets are available via the link below. Advance tickets only — no walk-ins.
Vegan and gluten-free accommodations are available. Please indicate any dietary needs at the time of ticket purchase.
This is more than dinner — it’s a journey told in five courses.
Menu subject to small changes.

Oak, Ash, & Thorn is an Irish trad. band hailing from the County Bucks, PA, United States of America. Bound by strong ties of work, family, and a shared love of traditional song, the boys of OAT have been entertaining audiences in the Delaware Valley and beyond since 2014.
Their high energy live performances attract a raucous audience to the theater and pub alike to sing, dance, drink, and be merry. Led by banjoist Yuri Gohen, flautist Richard Finch, and guitarist Jesse Ketchel OAT produce their own arrangements of tunes across the Irish canon; jigs and reels, ribald drinking songs, rebel ballads, and heartfelt love songs are their stock in trade. Their focus on vocal harmony, accompanied by the soaring melodies of fiddler Anthony Carlson, and the beating anchor of percussionist Kevin Kelly, makes their live show a must-see for fans of celtic music and culture; as do their unique and often signature arrangements of songs ranging from classic to obscure.
In 2024, directly on the heels of their annual St. Patrick’s Day tour, Oak Ash & Thorn entered the studio to record a follow-up to their 2019 debut. With this new effort, they hope to harness the fluid energy of their live show, and give a shot in the arm to the traditional folk and celtic music they hold dear. The new album, tentatively titled The Wars of America, will be released some time in 2025.

Waning Crescent Moon Cacao Ceremony & Sonic Meditative Journey
“The waning crescent moon symbolizes a sacred time of release, rest, and inward reflection as the lunar cycle comes to a close. Spiritually and ceremonially, it represents letting go of what no longer serves, forgiving past burdens, and surrendering to the unknown in preparation for renewal. This phase invites stillness rather than action, honoring silence, integration, and trust in unseen wisdom. Often associated with ancestral connection and heightened intuition, the waning crescent is a liminal space between endings and beginnings, where old energies dissolve and the soul prepares for rebirth in the coming new moon.”

Learn MoreMuscle Tough & Nik Greeley And The Operators
Muscle Tough, Philadelphia’s premier Futuristic Funk Fusion trio, specializes in a heavily improvised blend of modal jazz, funk, and rocking psychedelia.

"Too Busy 4 Jail" (2025) is a testament to what happens when you combine road-hardened material with hi-fi studio magic. Mixed by Grammy-winning engineer John Davis at The Bunker Studio, Muscle Tough's kaleidoscopic approach has never sounded better, from in-your-face funk fusion to Pink Floyd-dosed jazz to straight-up polyrhythmic tech-metal.
"Goes to Hell" is a love letter to the band's improvisational chemistry. This live album is entirely improvised from start to finish, without edits – a myriad of nightmarish bliss, transcendental moods & true compositional telepathy on display.
With a revolving door of guests including members of Phish, MMW, Dopapod, Lotus, Snarky Puppy, and DJ Logic, along with a reputation for their sprawling late-night sets, Muscle Tough invites audiences around the world to GET TOUGH!
