Brandon Warrick

Brandon Warrick is the lead singer and mandolin player for Philadelphia bluegrass mainstays River Bones Band. His solo performances pull from Americana, country, folk, and original material, with arrangements that leave room for each song to evolve from one performance to the next.

Instead of treating songs as fixed pieces, Warrick approaches both originals and covers with a flexible, interpretive style; sometimes stripping them down, sometimes stretching them out, and often finding a different path through them in the moment.

At the center of it all is a powerful, distinctive voice and a deep respect for songs with strong stories, character, and something unexpected beneath the surface.
