Hubbell, Psychic, Langan, St. James
Hubbell Benson is a psych rock/power pop band from Trenton, NJ that mixes a love of concise catchy song craft with face-melting jams.
Psychic Bison is a four piece psych rock force channeling otherworldly vibrations and ancient wild energy. Our sound rumbles like the ghosts of a thousand stampeding bison through the earth-Thick, transcendent and beautifully untamed.
Langan Frost & Wane is Medieval hippy music. They are modern-day alchemists of acid-folk and sixties inspired pastoral mysticism (think Donovan and The Incredible String Band with a touch of Ennio Morricone). The Philadelphia trio is comprised of seasoned songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Brian Langan, RJ Gilligan (Frost), and Nam Wayne (Wane). They use prominent vocal harmonies, fingerpicking guitar, and kaleidoscopic psych-rock undertones to make music that flashes from fun and flowery to ominous and arcane like the maddest of spring days. Championed by premier genre authorities like Shindig!, Prog, and Glide Magazine, Langan, Frost & Wane have quickly established themselves as leading lights in the psychedelic folk renaissance. They have gained the attention of like-minded rock iconoclasts such as Justin Hawkins of The Darkness and Russell Higbee of Modest Mouse, the latter of whom can be heard playing harp on their upcoming album, Tomorrow for a Stone, soon to be released on Goldstar Recordings.
St James and the Apostles St. James & The Apostles has been referred to as a cultist, psychedelic, family gospel freak-out. Formed as a trio in 2010 by cousins Jamie Mahon (guitar), Mike Kiker (keys), & Jeff Castner (drums). It’s often said that there’s an unspeakable alchemy with family members playing music together. Sometimes referred to as “blood harmony”. And in that case, St. James & The Apostles has blood harmony in endless supply. They gained a reputation for intense live shows and a big sound, filled out by Castner’s animalistic drumming, and Mahon’s & Kiker’s idiosyncratic playing styles on guitar and organ. On the heels of the release of their 4th album "Black Psalms" in late 2019, the band expanded to a quintet adding vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Jill Snarberg and bassist Mark Candidi, pushing the band's already dizzying array of sound into new territories. Their 5th album "Lollipop" is due out in August 2026.
